SS officer's M36 "Chained SS" with type I chain and belt loop. This fine example features a
stunning Type I plated steel chain that has high relief skulls and runes that show great
detail. The obverse side of the hardwood grip has a very small chip in the left-facing
lower corner of the upper crossguard. The reverse side of the grip has a ½" size
triangular chip also below the upper crossguard fitting. The nickel eagle and SS runes
button are perfect and show excellent detail. The fit of the lower crossguard to the
scabbard throat is perfect. The upper and lower crossguards are plated steel. This
no parts dagger. The center scabbard fitting is secured by a single screw. All
scabbard screws are "un-turned". The two screws that secure the lower scabbard
fitting both show oxidation. The scabbard retains much of its original painted
finish but has normal wear. There is no rust. The chain is perfect. The reverse
of the chain is clearly SS proof stamped on the expected link. The cut -out
cloverleaf shows the DRGM mark as Type I's demonstrate The blade is nearly
stone mint with fantastic crossgraining. This is one of the nicest SS blades
I've ever owned. The motto is deeply etched with a frosted background. There
is no maker's mark as you would expect on factory produced M-36's. An
excellent example. $8750. More Pictures |

Kriegsmarine officer's dagger with portepee by Adolf Braun. Adolf Braun is a rare maker
of KM daggers. This dagger features a deep orange grip that contrasts nicely with the
original gold cord portepee. The twistcord wire wrap is tight. The red felt buffer is
intact. The portepee shows minor fraying but that's fine. It lends to the originality
of the overall piece. The brass pommel cap, lower crossguard and scabbard all show nice
age patina having lost the original gilt finish which is common on KM daggers. The
blade is mostly mirror finished and in very good condition but has areas of minor
lifting of the finish mostly near the tip. Rare maker and very collectible. $1,895. More Pictures |

Postal protection Police (Postschutz) dagger with rare replaced portepee by Paul
Weyersberg. This stunning example features a beautifully detailed nickel silver grip
eagle on an ebony grip. All silver surfaces - pommel cap, lower crossguard and
upper, middle and lower scabbard fittings have a bright and excellent silver
plating. The "eye-catching" postal portepee has orange highlights to the aluminum
cord and bottom of the ball. The underside of the lower crossguard is
stamped "DRP" AND "638" (a very low number). The scabbard's original black paint is in
excellent condition having minor scrathes and light wear. The blade retains its
leather washer and has excellent crossgraining. There are areas of minor smudging
but this doesn't detract from the overall appearance of this fine example. $5,500. More Pictures |

Diplomatic official's dagger by Alcoso. I personally believe this is the most elegant
dagger designed during the Third Reich. This rare dagger features mother-of-pearl grip
plates. The pommel features a stylized eagle's head. There is some wear to the silver
finish but no "bubbling" or "lifting" that is common with these daggers. There is wear
in silver finish on the ferrule as well. The lower crossguard eagle is deeply cast and
has excellent finish . All internal parts are numbered "44". The scabbard has an even
patina with no dents. The blade has excellent crossgraining and has several areas of
minor smudges. The leather washer is intact. No perfect but still a very nice
example. $8,975. More Pictures |

TENO Senior's dagger by Carl Eickhorn. This rare dagger features the stylized cog wheel
pommel cap and TENO eagle on the lower crossguard. The orange grip is in excellent
condition. There are a couple of minor nicks to the pommel cap where the silver plating
is gone. It's minor. There is also a small area of missing finish on the reverse of the
lower crossguard. The scabbard has been polished so it is missing the burnished
background but it still looks great having no dings. The blade is stamped "1609" under
the crossguard eagle. The condition of the blade rates near mint with full
crossgraining and no smudging or pitting. Rare - $7,995. More Pictures |

SS "Ground Roehm" by Carl Eickhorn. This dagger features nickel silver fittings. The grip
SS button and grip eagle show nice detail. The wood grip has a deep, dark brown color with
the black finish having been worn through. This is quite common. There are a couple of
small chips below the upper crossguard fitting near the grip button. This is common on
these hardwood grips and doesn't detract from the overall appearance. The scabbard does
show heavy wear to the once black finish. There is oxidation pitting evident on the
obverse and reverse surfaces. The lower scabbard fitting also has been "dinged" having
an uneven surface. The lower ball is well shaped. The blade has been cleaned and the
crossgraining is gone but is in excellent condition with no smudges or pitting. The
acid etch is deep and the motto, "Meine Ehre Heisst Treue" looks great. On the
reverse, the Roehm dedication has been professionally removed leaving a clean
surface but tell-tale signs of the Roehm name. Cleaned but a good example on
an SS "Ground Roehm". $3,750. More Pictures |

Kriegsmarine officer's dagger by WKC - named. This fine example features the officer's name
etched into the reverse upper blade - "Schmielau" but I'll get to that shortly. The
stylized KM pommel cap retains a good portion of its original gilt finish. The grip
shows a nice age patina with a tight grip wire. The lower crossguard fittinf, like the
eagle, retains some its original finish. yThe scabbard has an uneven patina There are
no dings. This dagger also features the kind of lower crossguard "push-button". The
blade is in excellent but not mint condition. The acid etch features the sailing ship
motif. On the reverse is the engraved officer's name - "Schmielau". It's rare to
fine KM daggers with the owner's name. It might be worth doing the research on the
officer. The bright blade has a couple of very minor dark spots. It's still a
highly collectible piece. $1,800. More Pictures |

Imperial 1st Thuring Reg't Artillery saber for the 1st Thuring Field Artillery Reg't #19 by
WKC. This is an absolutely stunning example of a triple engraved sword. The dark blue
sharkskin grip shows minimal wear. The nickel silver plated surfaces of the "P" guard, backstrap
and hilt are fantastic condition. The "P" guard has a slot for a portepee or decorative strap. The
scabbard retains better than 95% of its original blued finish. The carrying ring is fixed. The
blade is a work of art! The blued panels depict on one side crossed canons in one blued section
leading to the dedication - "1. Thuring. Feld-Artill: Rgt. No.19. This panel section leads
further down towards the hilt is a mounted plumed helmeted officer. The bluing is FANTASTIC! The
reverse side of the blade depicts two blued panel sections with one showing a horse's head which
in turn leads to the larger panel depicting mounted artillerymen leading a caisson with a field
piece. Again, the bluing is exceptional. Each blued panel has an oak leaf and laurel filigree
on each side. The top of the blade also exhibits the filigree etch. The remaining portions of
the blade is in likewise stunning condition. This piece would be almost impossible to

wrapped ebony grip. The lower ferrule has good detail to the acorn and oak leaf
castings. The "D" guard fits tightly to where it meets the lower ferrule and the
original white buffer. The grip shows wear so it can be assumed this was worn. All
silver plated surfaces show matching wear to the finish. The satin finished blade is

etched panel featuring a beautifully detailed two small Wehrmacht eagles flanking

NSKK enlisted with hanger by Johan Leupold (rare maker). This excellent example was
originally an SA that was period repainted after the owner joined the NSKK. The black
repaint was well done and is evidenced by traces of the paint on the inner lip of the
upper scabbard fitting. There is no question that this was period done judging by the
paint and patina of the scabbard. The dagger features beautiful, rich textured
reddish brown grip and a finely detailed nickel silver grip eagle. The richly
patinaed upper and lower crossguard fittings leave no question that this piece
hasn't been apart or cleaned. The period paint shows normal wear but has no
detracting rust or wear. The lower scabbard fitting's ball does have some dents
and a minor stress crack. This does not detract from the overall display of
the piece. The reverse of the lower crossguard is group stamped "Fr" (Franken). Attached
