Early SS non-commissioned officer's degen, no maker. This degen features nickel
silver fittings. The black dyed wooden grip shows normal wear. It is easy to
imagine this 33inches long blade saluting Der Fuhrer as Leibstandarte or Germania
passes by in parade. As is often the case with these early degens, this one is
unmarked. The nickel surfaces retain a rich age patina. The SS runes on the
pommel cap are deeply cast. As is the basket weave design and oak leaves
near the ferrell. What else is impressive about this degen is the condition
of the scabbard which retains nearly 100% of its painted finish which is
rare. The blade is stainless steel showing no rust or overly distracting
smudges or pitting. The scabbard's throat is lightly stamped with the
SS proof stamp and the white washer is intact. This is a strong
representative and early example. It's easy to imagine this nco
going on to become an officer. $3250. More Pictures |

SS enlisted M33 dagger with rare exclamation point by Jacobs. This early SS dagger made
by Jacobs Co. features the rarely encountered ! exclamation point following the motto. The
wood grip is in overall excellent condition overall with no chips or cracks. The eagle
and upper and lower crossguards are nickel silver. The eagle shows nice detail. The
anodized scabbardshows wear to the once black anodized finish. The ball at the tip
of the lower scabbard fitting is flattened on one side and split. The blade is a bit
rough with several areas of wear to the blades silver surface caused by the internal
scabbard runners. There are also several areas of "smudges". Although it may have
some condition problems, this is still a highly collectible and rare
dagger. $4999. More Pictures |

SS M36 "Chained SS" with type II chain. This dagger features a highly detailed nickel
silver grip eagle with nickel silver upper and lower crossguards. The wood grip has no
chips or cracks. The chain links have excellent burnished background finish. I love
these skulls with their excellent detail. The connecting links are all original with no
repairs. The SS prooff is deeply stamped This is a a beautiful example showing minor
spidering to the original painted scabbard. The blade is in excellent condition with
only minor "in-and-out wear and several areas of very minor spotting. It has almost
100% crossgraining evident. I'd have to rate this as being in excellent condition
overall with only very minor distractions. $8950 More Pictures |

SS officer's M36 "Chained SS" with type I chain and belt loop. This fine example features a
stunning Type I plated steel chain that has high relief skulls and runes that show great
detail. The obverse side of the hardwood grip has a very small chip in the left-facing
lower corner of the upper crossguard. The reverse side of the grip has a ½" size
triangular chip also below the upper crossguard fitting. The nickel eagle and SS runes
button are perfect and show excellent detail. The fit of the lower crossguard to the
scabbard throat is perfect. The upper and lower crossguards are plated steel. This
no parts dagger. The center scabbard fitting is secured by a single screw. All
scabbard screws are "un-turned". The two screws that secure the lower scabbard
fitting both show oxidation. The scabbard retains much of its original painted
finish but has normal wear. There is no rust. The chain is perfect. The reverse
of the chain is clearly SS proof stamped on the expected link. The cut -out
cloverleaf shows the DRGM mark as Type I's demonstrate The blade is nearly
stone mint with fantastic crossgraining. This is one of the nicest SS blades
I've ever owned. The motto is deeply etched with a frosted background. There
is no maker's mark as you would expect on factory produced M-36's. An
excellent example. $8750. More Pictures |

SS "Ground Roehm" by Carl Eickhorn. This dagger features nickel silver fittings. The grip
SS button and grip eagle show nice detail. The wood grip has a deep, dark brown color with
the black finish having been worn through. This is quite common. There are a couple of
small chips below the upper crossguard fitting near the grip button. This is common on
these hardwood grips and doesn't detract from the overall appearance. The scabbard does
show heavy wear to the once black finish. There is oxidation pitting evident on the
obverse and reverse surfaces. The lower scabbard fitting also has been "dinged" having
an uneven surface. The lower ball is well shaped. The blade has been cleaned and the
crossgraining is gone but is in excellent condition with no smudges or pitting. The
acid etch is deep and the motto, "Meine Ehre Heisst Treue" looks great. On the
reverse, the Roehm dedication has been professionally removed leaving a clean
surface but tell-tale signs of the Roehm name. Cleaned but a good example on
an SS "Ground Roehm". $3,750. More Pictures |

SS transitonal enlisted dagger RZM maker marked and dated 1936. This dagger is a
transitional piece featuring nickel silver fittings and a period painted scabbard. The
grip has a wonderfully detailed eagle and complete runes button that shows only minor
wear. The grip has a minor chip along the reverse side lower crossguard. There is a
minute hairline crack also on the reverse side center below the upper crossguard. The
Nickle scabbard fittings and original period paint are all in very good to excellent
condition. The blade features the SS motto but the background burnishing as is the
cross graining is gone. There is no rust, stains or pitting and overall looks quite
nice. The blade is stamped M7/14 1936. M7/14 was the RZM code assigned to
P. D. Luneschloss. This maker 's transitional dagger is pictured in Thomas
Wittmann's highly informative book, 'Exploring The Dress Daggers and Swords of the German SS". $2995. More Pictures SOLD |

SS officer candidate degen, no maker. It is easy to imagine the pride that this blade
instilled when it was carried by its original owner as he attended the SS officer candidate
school at Braunschweig or Bad Tolz. This degen is characterized by its silver wire
wrapped ebony grip. The lower ferrule has good detail to the acorn and oak leaf
castings. The "D" guard fits tightly to where it meets the lower ferrule and the
original white buffer. The grip shows wear so it can be assumed this was worn. All
silver plated surfaces show matching wear to the finish. The satin finished blade is
in overall very good condition with no real problem areas. There is some very
minor "smudging" but no rust or pitting. The blade is unmarked. All screws that
secure the upper scabbard mount and lower drag match. The scabbard features the
original black paint finish that shows normal wear. As was normal with these
degens, there are no SS proofs on either the scabbard throat or underside of
the hilt. These SS officer candidate degens are hard to find. $3750. More Pictures |

SS M-33 dagger by Eickhorn. These early SS M-33 's with nickel silver fittings are becoming
increasingly difficult to find as they disappear into collections world-wide. This dagger
features a large oval Eickhorn maker's mark. This mark in itself is rare. The dagger's
grip is complete and features a nicely detailed SS runes button and grip eagle. There is
a "1" stamped on the reverse of the lower crossguard. The blade shows some areas of
light smudging. There is one tiny ding to the scabbard but this is hardly
noticeable. There is small crease in the lower scabbard fitting on the obverse
side. Overall the piece displays well and considering the rare Eickhorn stamp and
the increasing rarity of early M-33's this dagger is priced at $3995. More Pictures SOLD |
