0812EW1-1small.jpg 0812EW1  - Hitler Youth knife with motto by LUX. This Hitler Youth knife with the motto, 'Blut und Ehre" Blood and Honor" is in excellent condition. Having the motto indicates it was made no later than 1938. Blades manufactured after 1938 did not carry the motto. This knife has only very minor loss of silver finish on its plated surfaces. The blade is in overall all excellent condition. The scabbard retains better than 95% of its original black paint. The leather strap is supple and also in excellent condition. The black checkerboard bakelite grip plates are without chips or cracks. The HJ diamond is also complete and in superb condition. HJ knives in this condition are becoming rare. This one is a beauty! $1250.  More Pictures
0812EW2-1small.jpg 0812EW2  - Hitler Youth knife with owner's original monogram. This Hitler Jugend knife is without a motto indicating it was made after 1938. It is one of the finest examples I have seen of HJ knives made without a motto. This knife features the initials of the original youth professionally engraved on the blade. The addition of the initials, "MS" or "SM" might indicate the knife was given as a present by his proud parents. The blade is bright and shows only minor in-and-out wear and has not been sharpened as often seen on these knives. The RZM maker's code is stamped 7/27 (Lauterjung & Sohn, PUMAWERK, Solingen). The checkerboard grip plates are in near mint condition. The scabbard has almost 100% of its original black paint finish. The diamond is perfect! The pebbled leather strap is likewise in near mint condition. Hard to upgrade this one. $999.  More Pictures
088EW12-1small.jpg 088EW12  - Red Cross officer's dagger with portepee. This is a very clean textbook example featuring the standard orange grip. The lower crossguard has a deeply cast panel featuring the Red Cross insignia with an eagle with swastika on its breast feathers holding the international symbol of the Red Cross. The blade would be hard to upgrade being in excellent condition. $1895.  More Pictures
088EW11-1small.jpg 088EW11  - 1st model RLB enlisted dagger by C. Gustav Spitzer. This is a nice representative example of an early RLB without the swastika in the RLB star. The dagger features nickel silver pommel and lower crossguard fittings as well as the upper and lower scabbard mounts. The blade is in very good to excellent condition. The suspension clip has broken off from the leather attachment. The black painted scabbard shows normal wear to the finish. Rare to find the 1st models. $1999.  More Pictures
088EW10-1small.jpg 088EW10  - 2ND model RLB leader's dagger by Weyersberg. These are rare to find with the original leather in this condition. The enameled swastika has a couple of very minor chips. The silvered pommel, lower crossguard have a nice age patina. The blade has areas of darkening but no rust or peppering. A fine representative example. $2999.   More Pictures
088EW9-1small.jpg 088EW9  - Fireman's double marked dress bayonet by Tiger, Georg Keller. This is one of the finest examples of a Fireman's bayonet I have ever seen. The silver upper pommel and lower crossguard are 100% with the bright silver finish. The silver rivets and checkerboard grip plates are perfect. The frog is near mint. The black painted scabbard would be hard to upgrade. The blade is also minty with the Tiger maker's mark on one side and the name George Heller., Munchen on the other. Beautiful! $450.  More Pictures
088EW8-1small.jpg 088EW8  - Police bayonet (short version) with steel sheath by Puma. This fine example features stag grips with a wreathed, aluminum Polizei eagle. The eagle head pommel is deeply cast showing excellent detail. The rivets are tight that hold the stag grip plates. The sheath has "74" stamped on the upper and lower scabbard fittings on the reverse side. The black painted sheath shows wear to the finish where the frog rubbed. The blade is a beauty having no rust or pitting, darkened areas, etc. This would be hard to upgrade and it's rare. $$975.  More Pictures
085EW5-1small.jpg 085EW5  - Hunting Association subordinate cutlass by Clemens & Jung with frog and rare portepee. This stunning piece has it all! This cutlass features a beautiful stag grip with the Hunting association insignia with swastika. All silver surfaces are richly toned nickel silver plated. The dark green leather on the scabbard and frog is original. The triple etched blade shows deer, boar and fowl on one side and stag and fox on the other. All nicely etched with the blade being has only minor smudges in a couple of areas but these do not detract from the overall beauty of this piece which would be hard to upgrade. $3500.  More Pictures
083EW3-1small.jpg 083EW3  - Postal protection Police (Postschutz) dagger with rare replaced portepee by Paul Weyersberg. This stunning example features a beautifully detailed nickel silver grip eagle on an ebony grip. All silver surfaces - pommel cap, lower crossguard and upper, middle and lower scabbard fittings have a bright and excellent silver plating. The "eye-catching" postal portepee has orange highlights to the aluminum cord and bottom of the ball. The underside of the lower crossguard is stamped "DRP" AND "638" (a very low number). The scabbard's original black paint is in excellent condition having minor scrathes and light wear. The blade retains its leather washer and has excellent crossgraining. There are areas of minor smudging but this doesn't detract from the overall appearance of this fine example. $5,500.  More Pictures  SOLD
083EW4-1small.jpg 083EW4  - Diplomatic official's dagger by Alcoso. I personally believe this is the most elegant dagger designed during the Third Reich. This rare dagger features mother-of-pearl grip plates. The pommel features a stylized eagle's head. There is some wear to the silver finish but no "bubbling" or "lifting" that is common with these daggers. There is wear in silver finish on the ferrule as well. The lower crossguard eagle is deeply cast and has excellent finish . All internal parts are numbered "44". The scabbard has an even patina with no dents. The blade has excellent crossgraining and has several areas of minor smudges. The leather washer is intact. No perfect but still a very nice example. $8,975.  More Pictures
083EW5-1small.jpg 083EW5  - TENO Senior's dagger by Carl Eickhorn. This rare dagger features the stylized cog wheel pommel cap and TENO eagle on the lower crossguard. The orange grip is in excellent condition. There are a couple of minor nicks to the pommel cap where the silver plating is gone. It's minor. There is also a small area of missing finish on the reverse of the lower crossguard. The scabbard has been polished so it is missing the burnished background but it still looks great having no dings. The blade is stamped "1609" under the crossguard eagle. The condition of the blade rates near mint with full crossgraining and no smudging or pitting. Rare - $7,995.  More Pictures
082EW4-1small.jpg 082EW4  - K98 police bayonet with scabbard dated 1937 w/frog. This is an excellent example of a police bayonet as designated by the "b" nomenclature. The reverse side of the upper scabbard shows the date and matching "S" numbers. $550.  More Pictures

082EW7-1small.jpg 082EW7  - Double engraved Fireman's bayonet with frog and knot by Alcoso. This is one rare piece. This dress bayonet features all the components of a standard fireman's dress bayonet but here the description begins - the double etched panels are dedicated to the "Remembrance of his service days with the Munich Fire Department! The obverse panel is highlighted by a fireman's helmet with a swastika. This is very rare to find. The reverse panel has three small areas of where the plating has deteriorated where the Munich Fire Department is inscribed. I can't emphasize enough how rare this etched bayonet is. $2850.  More Pictures
081EW17-1small.jpg 081EW17  - Police officer's degen with knot by Krebs. This degen features beautifully plated nickel fittings. The ebony grip, that shows light wear, has a copper police eagle that shows excellent detail. The wire wrap is tight. The silver plating is in excellent condition on the pommel cap, D guard and upper and lower ferrules. The underside of the hilt is stamped with the SS runes. 081EW5-1small.jpg 081EW5  - Hitler Youth knife with motto dated 1937 by J.A. Henckels and RZM marked. These HJ knives with mottos are getting harder to find. It's really exciting to find one that is not only dated with a motto but one that has an RZM code along with a maker's mark. This knife features a complete "diamond and excellent, unchipped checkerboard grip. There is wear to the silver finish along the grip's top and spine areas. So what! This piece is unsharpened and has a lightly etched motto. The original buffer is intact. The blade has no rust or pitting. It has normal in and out wear. The sheath is anodized. The leather hanger and belt with snap closure is intact but shows age cracking. Becoming rarer. $850.   More Pictures

The lower scabbard fitting has scratches to the finish. The blade has areas of graying but there is no rust or pitting. The original buffer is intact. I believe the portepee is original to the piece as there is green finish on the leather that has worn from the leather. $2450.   More Pictures
081EW9-1small.jpg 081EW9  - RAD enlisted hewer by AXT. AXT's are rare and the most desirable of RAD hewer makers. This early piece features beautiful stag grips that have a rich patinae. 0710EW18-1small.jpg 0710EW18  - RAD Leader's hewer. This an excellent example showing a high amount of original lacquer. The stylized pommel eagle has no lifting to the head and has excellent detail. The white age patinaed grip plate on the obverse side shows a "Y" shaped hairline crack which is common to these beautiful daggers. The lower crossguard displays the RAD emblem with good detail. Blade shows llight graying in areas but this does not detract from the overall appearance. The RAD motto, "Arbeit adelt" is deeply etched with excellent background burnishing. The scabbard displays much of the original factory lacquer which is not common and good to see. However, there are areas where the silver finish has worn off towards the tip of the obverse side. Given the condition of the rest of the hewer and the age yellowing caused by the lacquer this is barely noticeable. $2495.  More Pictures
0710EW17-1small.jpg 0710EW17  - RAD subordinate hewer with Full stag grips by Carl Eickhorn. RAD's are becoming harder to find at shows as they disappear into collections. This hewer is made more rare by having the "full-stag" grips. Typically, we see the stylized eagle' head in partial metal. The earlier ones came with "full-stag". This dagger also has a stamped number 107 preceded by a worn "Fu" for Fuehrer or leader. Not an officer hewer but probably an NCO carried this piece. The obverse of the scabbard shows good but worn silver plating to the fittings. The reverse shows that the silver plating on the upper scabbard fitting is pretty worn probably due to carrying. The black painted scabbard has lost much of its original paint. The blade has grayed significantly, having lost much of its original finish. There is no rust or pitting. The small Eickhorn squirrel further indicates early manufacture. The motto "Atbeit adelt" (work ennobles), is deeply etched but has lost its burnish. This is a rare piece even with consideration given to its worn appearance. $1675.   More Pictures

The plates are accented by the stylized eagle's head pommel and oak leaf motif on the lower crossguards. There are the letters GTr. 5920 stamped on the reverse of the lower guard. The reverse is stamped "Weyersberg, Kirchbaum…". The frog is stamped and dated 1928. It was common to use pre-Third Reich police bayonets and convert for use by the Third Reich police by affixing the eagle and shortening the blade. This one has a shortened blade. A great piece. $875.   More Pictures
