031M5 - Luft. Ground Crew Ring. This is a high quality ring may have been purchased at the airbase canteen. Even the ground crew wanted to have a ring to commemorate their role in the service. The front plate shows a silver Luft. eagle over a circle of pistons over black onyx. There are three very minor chips in the onyx that do not detract from the ring's overall appearance. The left and right side panels show a deeply detailed propeller and wing motif. The inside of the ring band shows the silver content as 835 and the jeweler's stamp "K". The front eagle & piston motif is secured by 3 tiny rivets. This is a well-made offering and available for $695. More Photos
