113SO3 - SS Totenkopfring (Honor Ring) awarded to SS Untersturmfuhrer
Hendrik Wilhelm van Etten SS Ausweis # 62939 dated 9/11/42. SS Totenkopfrings awarded to non-German volunteers in
the Waffen SS are extremely rare. This SS Totenkopfring shows excellent detail in the skull and runic panels. The
background stippling is also evident in the panels. The ring exhibits die flaw characteristics evident in
authentic Totenkopf rings. The joiner seam is apparent beneath the original silver solder on the
interior behind the skull. This ring is a medium to large size ( about 10.5). The engraving is
typical of what is encountered in a 1940's style ring. The ring comes with a number of reproduced
documents of Waffen SS Untersturmfuhrer van Etten's service. Hendrik Wilhelm van Etten (a Dutch national) was
born 17.5.1916 in Amsterdam, Holland. He volunteered for service in the Germanische-SS
Niederlande in 1941. Included in the documents is reference to Feldpost # 16284 in 1942
according to the research. The number 16284 is associated with the staff of the SS War
Correspondents Kompanie/SS Panzer Grenadier Division "WIKING" where Untersturmfuhrer
van Etten served as a war correspondent. The ring comes with Certificate of Authenticity
from Don Boyle author of "SS Totenkopfring H. Himmler Honor Ring 1933-1945", published
by IMAGE GRAPHICS , INC. 1993,1994, 1995.Copyright Don Boyle. $11,000. More Photos

101SO2 - SS Dachau Concentration Camp
tunic of Hauptscharfuhrer Walter Miltsch. Witness to one of history's darkest episodes, this
SS tunic is perhaps the only surviving example named to a concentration camp guard. Privately
tailored, it corresponds in appearance to the Model 1935 standard army tunic which the SS
adopted in March 1938. It is fully lined, an upgrade characteristic of private purchase
uniforms for commissioned officers and senior NCOs. The liner fabric is light brown, rayon
faux satin. Another feature of this tailor-made tunic is the inside button-down pocket on
the right side. Below the opening is sewn the name tag reading, " Miltsch W. "
The tunic itself is cut from wool gabardine of officer's quality. Each sleeve has three
vertical seams. The use of three vertical panels to form a sleeve instead of a single, broader
length of material suggests that only a partial bolt may have been available. Enlisted
grade wool was in supply at SS clothing depots, which were often established at concentration
camps. Higher quality gabardine however, would likely be scarcer at these rural facilities. The
non-regulation construction of the garment may indicate that the tailor was an inmate who
customized the uniform according to available resources and his or her visual perception
of the Model 1935's physical characteristics. This tunic has a custom tailored collar
liner.
Though the surface of the fabric shows mothing, the striking insignia greatly
enhances the tunic's overall appearance. The hand-sewn, right collar tab features a
horizontal skull wrought in hand-embroidered aluminum wire. The left side rank tab
indicates the rank of Hauptscharfuhrer (SS master sergeant). Upon Miltsch's promotion
the tab was lifted to add a vertical Litzen strip and then sewn back down. The hand-sewn
sleeve eagle is an officer's aluminum flatwire; like the skull tab a private purchase
upgrade. The dark green wool felt collar and shoulder straps display the machine sewn
silver tresse denoting sergeant's rank.
The matching shoulder straps with black
underlay are textbook SS. They are bordered with extremely rare copper-brown
waffenfarbe, the service branch color for concentration camp staff. The matching
pebbled aluminum buttons are field gray and are all stamped "RZM/SS" on the
reverse. Hand-sewn on the right sleeve is the silver-and-black SS Ehrenwinkel, "Old Fighters" chevron
which individuals affiliated with the NSDAP prior to January 30, 1933, were
authorized to wear. On the lower sleeve is also the dark green wool felt army
specialty patch for Oberschirrmeister, or technical sergeant in the motor pool. It
indicates the wearer was a senior mechanic and/or driver. "Ref. Cloth Insignia
of the SS, by LTC. (Ret.) John R. Angolia Assisted by Stan Cook, Roger James
Bender Publishing, Copyright 1983, pp. 432". Qualified SS personnel initially
wore army trade patches on their uniforms. The style for Oberschirrmeister is
one of the few patterns bordered in silver thread instead of white cotton. The
upper left side of the tunic has three loops for a ribbon bar. There are two
sets of loops for metal decorations below the pocket flap.
The grouping includes photocopies of original documents from Walter Miltsch's SS personnel file. They
list details of his career such as postings, awards and performance evaluation. He was born near
Rosenheim in the Bavarian Alps in 1909. Miltsch enlisted in the SA, the brown-shirted para-military
organization that protected speakers and kept order at NSDAP assemblies, in November 1927. He transferred
to the SS in 1936. Miltsch was posted to Dachau concentration camp
where he was responsible for the transportation of inmates to Hartheim Castle where they were
executed under the T4 euthenasia program in 1941. Later, Hauptscharfuhrer Miltsch was posted
to Konzentrationslager Mauthausen. He survived the war. During the post-war period Miltsch
was both a defendant and prosecution witness at war crimes trials of former SS personnel.
A veteran of a U.S. armored division brought Miltsch's tunic home as a war souvenir. Eventually, the
veteran sold the tunic to a collector who owned it for the next 35 years. The Miltsch tunic is
accompanied by both provenance (an uninterrupted trail of private ownership from the war
years until today) and supporting documentation connecting the artifact to the original
wearer and period of manufacture. Very few SS tunics of any branch offer both criteria
of authenticity. This rare SS concentration camp tunic is completely original and
unaltered since the war.$24,900. More Photos

was made by the prestigious Wellner firm as indicated by the Wellner name on the
underside. Wellner was commissioned to make a large number of serving pieces for
Hitler's formal use. The serving side of the platter features a stylized eagle with
the initials A H on each side. It's easy to imagine Der Fuehrer being served his
vegetables (he was a vegetarian) off this elegant piece. There is a second number
code along the outer edge on the underside. This large platter measures approximately
21 ˝"x 14 ˝"x 1 ˝". These platters are described by Mark Griffith M.D. in his

088so1 - SS Junkerschule Bad Tolz Chronicle. During World War II, the Waffen SS earned a
reputation for prowess in combat that rivaled that of any elite fighting force. A primary
reason was the novel and dynamic leadership training at the SS
Junkerschulen, or "Schools for Young Gentlemen," where officer candidates enrolled. The
flagship institution, Bad Tolz, began courses in April 1934. It commissioned nearly one
thousand 2nd lieutenants a year, accepting men from 32 nations during the war.
Perhaps the most intriguing artifact from Bad Tolz to survive is the Chronicle of the
2nd Training Section. It provides a visual and written narrative of successive
classes from 1937 through July 27, 1943. The handsomely bound, oversize volume is
fitted with sheets of translucent onion skin protecting the parchment. The text, hand
rendered in gothic calligraphy, consists of entries from class participants. Some 40
brush & ink and watercolor illustrations depict various elements of the course, patriotic
themes, and caricatures of instructors. Most of the 114 high resolution photographs
are unpublished. They include camera portraits of (identified) officers and Junkers, group
photographs of individual classes, and images of field exercises and instruction. Maps
and charts show the location of training facilities housing various SS divisions and duty stations.
Though some of the book's 150 pages have tears none are missing. Approximately 31 photographs
have been removed, without disrupting the continuity of the text and visuals. The inscription
on the inside cover reveals that a sergeant in the U.S. Army 287th Combat Engineer Battalion
captured the chronicle in May 1945. What was then a cumbersome, 12-pound souvenir is today
a vivid, personalized record of life at a legendary military academy, reflecting the spirit
of the times as no historian could ever convey. The Bad Tolz Chronicle offers a
historic, unique, and graphic impression of the heartbeat of the Waffen SS, from
the perspective of the idealistic young volunteers learning to command. An
incomparable, one-of-a-kind offering at $15,000. More Photos |

SS officer's type II chained dagger (M36), named with portepee. This dagger has it
all! Not only is this dagger in fantastic condition, the original's officer's number
is etched into the reverse of the lower nickel crossguard. To begin, this dagger
features, all nickel silver fittings. The SS button is straight up-and-down. The
grip eagle shows deep definition giving it great detail. The black grips are free
of chips and cracks. Tied to the grip is a portepee which indicates wear by an
Waffen SS officer. The upper and lower crossguards are as nice as you would
like to see. The reverse of the lower crossguard has the officer's SS
number "54583" neatly etched into the silver. Researching this number we
learned that the dagger belonged to Felix Baungartner. Baumgartner entered
the SA in 1932 and later served on the staff of SS-Absnitt XXVII in
1939 . Later he went on to hold positions with 6. Sturm/II. Sturmbann/Ersatz SS
Totenkopfverbande and transferred to the Waffen SS September 1, 1939 (Poland). He
instructed at Bad Tolz and went on to serve with THE 10th SS Panzer
Grenadier Div. (Frundsberg), Totenkopf Div. and Das Reich. Baumgartner
held the rank of Obersturmbannfuhrer in 1945. Baumgartner was awarded
the SS Totenkopfring (Honor Ring). The painted scabbard is one of the
nicest I have ever seen showing minimal wear and scratches to the black
finish front and back. The chain has no signs of repair made to the connecting
links. The alternating links of skulls and runes all show excellent
detail. Moving to the blade I see no signs of pitting. The
crossgraining is very apparent. There are no problems! The
motto, "Meine Ehre Heisst Treue" is deeply etched with excellent
background burnishing. This historical piece would be a real
challenge to upgrade. The dagger comes with copies of
Baumgartner's service record. $SOLD. More Pictures |

- Feuerschutzpolzei officer's visor by Peter Kupper. This rare and desirable police hat
features carmine red crown and capband piping for the Fire Protection Police. The black
capband indicates the period of 1939-1942 when this color band was worn. The aluminum
chincords make this an officer's hat. The wreathed police eagle shows a slight loss of
finish but this does not detract from the general appearance of the hat. The hat's upper
body is police blue/green wool. The underside of the upper body has two screen vented
grommets on each side. The visor shows light wear. There is no mothing or staining. The
interior features oilcloth material used for the crown section. The maker's name Peter

0711so1 - Aluminum Army Paratroop Badge (Fallschirmschutzen - Abzeichen des Heeres). This
extremely rare badge (aluminum version) features the stylized diving Heer eagle. The Heer

at which time it was incorporated into the Luftwaffe. Fallschirmjager who worn this badge
after this date had previously been awarded the army version and allowed to wear the
badge. This makes the early aluminum version very rare being that its production was
discontinued after tombak became the primary material of construction prior to the
outbreak of war. This badge shows use and has wear to the finish. There is a period
repaired catch that protrudes through the wreath. This is a textbook example and
will make a great centerpiece for anyone who collects badges, Luftwaffe, Heer or

with no chips or cracks as one would hope for with one of these elegant pieces. The
silver plated finish surrounding the grip plates has several minor nicks but the finish
is in excellent condition and has an even patination. The lower crossguard eagle shows
deep casting for excellent detail. The blade is in excellent condition with no
serious marks , pitting or smudging. This blade would be hard to upgrade. The original
buffer is intact. The scabbardshows nice age patinae with no dents and still shows
some of the original lacquer. I have not taken this piece apart but I've been
informed that all internal numbers match with "138". A stunningly elegant and
rare piece. More Pictures |

- Political Leader's visor hat for Gau level party officials. This hat piece features
wine-red crown and capband piped. It had one of the finest sets of hat insignia I've seen
on these pieces. The cords are "cello". The hat has one very minor craze in the visor but
this doesn't distract from this rare piece. The interior is lined with artificial silk. The
sweat diamond is 100% as is the leather sweatband with an under lying RZM tag. No mothing

features the bright golden yellow piping of a cavalry unit. The earlier style cockade is

so minor that it doesn't detract from the visor's overall appearance. The interior has the
standard EREL rhomboid sweat diamond and is marked "Standard" indicating its quality
level. The interior shows light wear. The perforated leather sweatband is intact and
joined in the rear by a bow. This hat would rate excellent in my collection. . More Photos SOLD |

077so1 - SS Totenkopfring dated 1943. - This SS Honor Ring is an excellent example of one
of the most sought after SS awards. The ring is dated June 21, 1943. The recipient's name
has been intentionally scratched, but it appears to be "Hurtiling" or "Huetiling". The
inscriptions: SLb., Hurtiling (?), date and H. Himmler are finely jeweler engraved. The
joiner seam is apparent behind the skull. The exterior of the ring shows light wear with
the double runes on the rear panel showing the most. The remaining runes are still highly
distinguishable. This ring is an overall excellent example showing a modest amount of
light and normal wear. The ring is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity
written by Don Boyle famous author of "SS Totenkopf H. Himmler Honor
Ring 1933-1945". SOLD. More Photos |

079U7 - SS M44 smooth cotton fabric dot pattern camouflage tunic and matching pants. An
identical uniform of this pattern is pictured in M. Beaver's book, "Camouflage Uniforms

factory applied sleeve eagle as seen by the loose zig-zag stitching. The stitching that
secures the buttons all matches but one button is smooth rather than pebbled. The interior
is nicely size stamped on the hbt rayon facing under the right armpit along with
Betr. Ra (Ravensbruch?). The pants match the tunic. The pants feature zinc suspender
buttons but one is missing at the front right hip. The pants are size stamped along
the right rear waistband. All the ties at the ends of the pant legs are present. One
of the side adjusting cinch-belts is made using HBT material which is interesting to
see but I'm not surprised considering the shortage of materials. This very rare and
collectible uniform is available for SOLD. More Photos |

featured nicely patinaed nickel silver fittings. The grip is a deep, rich
brown with no chips. The SA button and eagle are in excellent condition.
The reverse of the lower crossguard shows the group stamp "Nrh".
The brown scabbard is in very good condition. The lower hanger's brown
leather shows some wear but it too is in very good condition. The upper

hanger shows wear which leads me to believe the hanger has been there for
a long time. The blade is in
excellent condition with good crossgraining The obverse of the blade shows
excellent background burnishing for the SA motto "Alles fur

SS M-36 Chained dagger with Type I chain. This fine example features a stunning Type I
plated steel chain that has high relief and great detail to the skulls and runes. The
grip is near perfect as is the runes button and eagle. The fit of the grip to the
lower crossguard is not near perfect but this is often seen on the chains producted
in the mid-production period. The upper and lower crossguards are nickel silver. The
reverse of the lower crossguard is GAU stamped Sa . Don't dismiss this dagger! Thomas
Wittman writes an entire page in his Exploring the Dress Daggers and Swords of the
SS. Please read page 121 of this "bible" for peace of mind. This is no parts
dagger. The Upper and middle scabbard fitting are the plated steel and the lower
is nickel. The center scabbard fitting is secured by a single screw - this is
identical to the one pictured in Wittman's book on page 131. All scabbard screws
are "un-turned". This too is commonly seen in the mid-production M-36's. The
Scabbard retains much of its original lacquer over the anodized finish. There
is no rusr. The chain is near perfect except that one link does have minor
oxidation to it. Apparently at some point this link was exposed to moisture
and the plating just wasn't up to the challenge. The obverse displays quite
well. The reverse of the proof stamped link shows more oxidation than the
obverse side (sorry but that's the way it is). There is also minor oxidation
on the clip as shown in the photo. Fortunately these areas are not on the
front so the dagger will display well. The cut -out cloverleaf shows the
DRGM mark as Type I's demonstrate Here's the really great part - the blade
is practically stone mint with fantastic crossgraining. This is one of
the nicest SS blades I've ever owned. The motto is deeply etched with
great burnishing. There is no maker's mark as you would expect on factory
produced M-36's. Great piece. More Pictures SOLD |

- Heer Panzer officer's visor hat. Usually I buy on condition and authenticity.
I seldom acquire "salty" pieces but this hat talked to me. I can easily imagine
this hat being worn by an officer climbing into his cupola and heading off to
destroy a T-34 or six. This early 1935-1936 period hat features unmothed, pink
piping. The bullion wreath has a metal cockade. The chincords set well on the
capband. The hat is without the internal spring and has a "jaunty", crusher
appearance. The inside of this hat is missing the diamond but the maker stamp
is "Erstklassig". There is a fair amount of wear. There are a number of
separations in the artificial silk lining most caused by age and wear. However,
this is not readily apparent. It is mostly in the "folds". The underside of the
visor tells the true story of how much this hat was on-and-off. It shows
authentic wear from the officer removing it and replacing it probably inside
an armor vehicle. The leather sweatband is joined by a bow and is complete and
unbroken. Great piece of panzer headgear and would display well on a mannequin
or headstand. More Photos SOLD |

pink piping. There is minor age crazing to the visor. The hat has one small
moth nip to the band near the right-facing button. Inside the hat is the

the smallest size manufactured. Inside the band is the manufacturer's stamp
and the 1939 date. A very collectible piece of panzer headgear. More Photos SOLD |

- Heer Infantry officer's visor hat. This beautiful hat features a metallic
cockade with a bullion wreath. The eagle is nicely age toned. The white piping
is complete and free of mothing. The hat has a great shape to it. The visor
shows very minor age creasing. The interior is a combination of polished
cotton and rayon . The complete sweat diamond reads "Deutches Erzeugnis".
The underside of the sweatband reveals the original owner's name "Dittmer".
There are additional holes near the eagle, which indicates that the eagle
was probably off at one time. However, the fit is tight to the cap body.
Overall the hat shows light wear and displays well. It's getting harder
to find authentic hats in this condition. More Photos SOLD |

early insignia showing excellent detail. The "teller" form hat has minor moth
damage at the rear bottom along the capband a couple of small nips below the
piping at the rear. This does not detract from the overall presentation of
the hat. There is no mothing or stains otherwise. The interior is lined with
a copper-orange cotton lining. The leather sweatband has a minor 1' tear at
the front. The celluloid sweat diamond is intact and the size "57" is stamped
under it. The maker Chr. Schweitzer… Koblenz is stamped under the leather
sweatband. Under the maker's stamp is the date 1935. There is another stamp
next to the maker stamp but it is illegible. There is another 1/2' tear in
the sweatband above the area of the maker's mark. The hat appears to never
have been worn. More Photos SOLD |

The chincords are snug, the moleskin upper body material and the
green capband are stain and moth-damage free. The interior of the
hat features typical Peter Kupper construction as highlighted by
the black velvet band of cloth separating the capband from the
sweatband. The interior has a gray rayon lining that shows minor
wear. The sweatband is likewise gray leather that shows light
wear. The rhomboid sweat diamond is complete. Overall, this is

very rare piece of Third Reich headgear. The helmet features rabbit fur machine

worn under panzer berets. The front of the helmet features a handsewn
panzer trapezoid eagle that appears to be original to the piece.
Everything about this size 56 helmet is mint. The earflaps are tied
together at the crown by two cotton pull strips. The exterior fur is in mint

by six air vents with hard rubber grommets. One grommet is absent.

Luft. officer's visor
hat by Erel. Straight from the vet's family. This hat displays well. The exterior is in
overall excellent condition which is good to see considering these are getting harder to
find especially from the family of the vet. The hat features a vented cockade characteristic
of Erel's. The eagle displays excellent detail. There is no mothing or staining. The aluminum
piping is not frayed. The visor has normal age creasing. The chincord is tight to the hat's
band. The black mohair capband is complete and free of moth nips. The interior shows normal
wear. The Erel rhomboid sweat diamond is complete indicating that this hat is an "Extra".
I couldn't find a date stamp or size inside the sweatband but judging by the high cockade and
construction, this is an earlier piece. The hat size I would guess is a 55 by the way it
displays on a headstand. This hat displays well and would look great on a mannequin. More Photos SOLD |

Luft. officer's
visor hat by Clemens Wagner - named to the officer. I picked this hat up at the recent MAX.
This Clemens Wagner is a great example of one of Germany's premier hat makers (my opinion).
Clemens Wagner supplied "soft caps" to the armed forces including the SS. The CW stamped into
the leather sweatband indicates the maker. The exterior of this hat is free of mothing and
stains. This hat displays well (understatement). The interior shows normal wear . The rhomboid
sweat diamond is silver foil stamped under the celluloid "Verkaufsabteilung…". Part of the
celluloid is missing. The officer's name is typed on a paper insert tag - Karl Ostermayer.
(No, I didn't research him). The leather sweatband shows wear but is complete. Under the
sweatband there is a stamp but I couldn't make it out for fear that I'd tear the leather.
Personally I like Luft. visors with their springs to give them shape but this hats spring
hat been removed and it gives it a jaunty appearance. Great hat. More Photos SOLD |

go through the material and does not detract from the cap's overall appearance. The cap
is lined with blue-gray satin lining and is size stamped 57. There is no partial leather

the bottom portion of the swastika. The eagle must have been applied before the hat was
complete as evidenced by the machine stitching along the crown running over the upper
portion of the wing. The hat's exterior is perfect with no stains or mothing. The two
pebbled aluminum buttons have each lost a small amount of their paint finish. The

Luftwaffe flight
helmet w/throat mike. This exellent example is made of light brown cotton cloth with dark
brown leather earphone attachments and trim. The helmet shows light wear, with mild oxidation
to the steel buckle and side clips. The brown leather is in very good condition but being worn
it is not mint. The earphones are fleece-lined. The remaining interior is copper brown satin.
The Siemens manufacturer tag indicates this as a model LKpS101 helmet. There is one small
section of wear on the inside where the chinstrap meets the helmet's body. The sheepskin
chinstraps are otherwise fully intact. The throat mike and power cord show mild age and
use but are 100%. This is an excellent example showing light use.

man's artillery (red) piped white summer visor. This hat is a stunning example
made by Erel. The hat featured a waffle pattern white cotton removable top. The
stiffener has been removed leaving the hat with a more "jaunty" appearance. There
is very mild age yellowing to the top. The eagle is the early style with down-turned
tail feathers. The winged cockade is the standard aluminum enlisted variety. Along
the upper edge of the mohair cap band is the red piping signifying artillery.
The hat has the Erel air vent through the band. The interior features a complete Erel
celluloid diamond and leather sweatband. The artificial silk lining I would rate
in mint condition showing no staining. The size is about 58. An excellent addition.

Waffen SS field gray fez. The field gray fez worn by the W-SS (Handshar & Kama) in

maroon fez. Worn by the Handshar and Kama divisions, I've always liked these and the more
rare field gray fez's for their jauntiness. Both color of fez were worn by German SS

However, the NSDAP party treasury certified only 22,282 members as

pubicity concerning German activities. The letter is framed with a period print of Guderian.

to be the most coveted award in the German Wehrmacht. With just over 7,000 of these awarded, this
is a very rare item of Third Reich militaria. Ritterkreutzstrager's (holder's of the Knight's
Cross) were considered "national heros" and were often given a hero's reception upon returning
from the front. All too often many did not return to receive their former award document. This
piece features the characteristics of the L/65 Knight's Cross. The donut shaped eye on the

reverse upper arm of the cross is stamped 800. The cross comes with a wearing ribbon in mint

making him an older colonel. There is no mothing. The gray cotton interior is stamped BR
97 (?). The collar is missing one of the metal studs for the collar band. This doesn't

features an Arabic numeral "10" (Fuss-Standarten) while the left tab features the single
pip indicating the rank of sergeant. There is an aluminum bordered cuffband with the
Arabic numeral "3" indicating Nurnberg. Everything about this tunic down to the carefully
hand-stitched, twistcord shoulder piping indicates high-quality construction. This is
a tailor-made piece with the Homberg tailor's label being sewn into the back of the
tunic. There is no name tag. There are three original loops for badges on the left
breast pocket. There is no damage whatsoever to this uniform. The rear of the tunic
displays fine tailoring with the two aluminum buttons that allow the cross-strap to
be held securely in place. Sorry, I don't have the cross-strap. The trousers
feature the white wool piping that extends down the side of each pant leg. This
is the straight-legged style rather than the riding breeches. There are no
labels in the pants. All fastening buttons match as on the tunic. This complete
and untouched uniform is very rare being that a great many of these were
stripped after 1940 and sent to the foreign occupied countries to be worn by
their SS and police auxiliary units. This uniform was probably not sent out
of Deutchland due to it being a private purchase uniform. This example is

066U1 - Kriegsmarine service tunic belonging to Konteradmiral Hans Michahelles. This early, ten button
high quality tunic, visor hat and brocade belt are attributed to Hans Michahelles who was
born in Nuernberg May 16, 1899, died June 14, 1975 in Hamberg-Blankensee.. The tunic is
for the rank of Kapitan zur See and by the 1934 nametag on the inside pocket he held that
rank during the very early Third Reich period. Later promoted to Konteradmiral, Michahelles
received his KNIGHT'S CROSS on/ about April 30, 1945 as Kommandant Fortress Gironde
North. This award made him one of the last RK recipients of the RK. The tunic comes
with his WWI prinze size EKII ribbon with 1939 spange. There are two original loops
on the left breast. (The EKI and destroyer badge (ShU ) have been added and go with
the set). The breast eagle is a beautiful one highlighted with accent threads. There
is no mothing or stains. The brocade belt is an early KM officer's featuring the
suspension hooks for a KM sword. The visor hat is original with high quality bullion/cello
highlighted eagle and standard bullion cockade. The mohair capband is turned so that the
seam appears on the side. I've seen this before in KM visors so I didn't lose any sleep

patina. The cornflower blue tabs match. The collar originally was detacheable but this
was period sewn to permanently secure the collar. This does not detract from the
appearance at all. There are seven matching loops above the left breast pocket to secure
one long ribbon bar. There are three sets of loops on and below the left breast for
decorations. The aluminum officer's eagle is the standard variety. The six button front
and four pocket buttons all match as does the thread. The interior lining shows light
wear and is not marked. There is a sewn in clip and a slit opening for suspending the
dress dagger. There is no mothing or stains evident on this excellent example. More Photos SOLD |

minimal amount of wear. The interior is lined with an off-white artificial silk lining. The

frayed name label in the inside breast pocket. The coat shows excellent detail in

073U2 - Luftwaffe Lt. Colonel's fliegerbluse piped for flight or Fallschirmjager unit. This
fliegerbluse was originally enlisted grade but was converted to an officer's with the addition
of the twistcord collar piping expertly applied and the beautiful early officer's breast
eagle with the down-turned eagle. There are no loops. The practice of converting enlisted
grade uniforms for officer wear was very common during the period. The interior of the coat
features standard cotton pockets (maker stamped) and backing. On one of the pockets is
inked what appears to be the owner's name. The fliegerbluse shows period wear but is in
overall near excellent condition with no mothing , stains or tears. More Photos SOLD |
