Ordering From Oakleaf Militaria, Inc. Due to the limited availability of the militaria, I have to respect "first come, first serve" requests for purchase. Methods of Payment Payment can be made by cashier's checks, money orders or cash. Please do not send cash in the mail. I will be more than happy to accept cash at any of the shows I attend. At this time I am not set-up to take credit card orders. On a sale-by-sale basis we can discuss layaway. If we agree to this arrangement, I will require 1/3 the asking price as a down payment and total payment must be received within the negotiated timeframe. Shipping Costs The purchaser will be responsible for the cost of shipping including insurance. At the time you place your order you will be asked how you want the item to be sent. I'll advise you of your total cost including shipping, insurance and your militaria item. Return Policy I guarantee all items listed for purchase are original and pre-1945. I will inform you of any restoration or replacement that I am aware of. I offer a lifetime unconditional money back guarantee if the item proves to be not original pre-1945. There is a five-day inspection period after you receive the piece. If you are not satisfied please advise me that you will be returning it. I will refund your payment providing that the piece is returned in its' original condition. Any altering, tampering, cleaning, removal of insignia or disassembly will void the return policy. Sales Tax Oakleaf Militaria, Inc. is by law considered a retail corporation. As such, Oakleaf is responsible for the collection and payment of all applicable state(s) sales taxes (Ouch!). Illinois residents please add 6 1/2 % to the purchase price of the item(s). Because Oakleaf Militaria does attend shows as a registered vendor, state sales taxes are required to be collected at the shows.International Orders Oakleaf Militaria will make every effort to ensure that your order will arrive in the condition it was sent. As with the domestic orders, we request that the buyer determine the best method for shipment and insure the parcel (there are restrictions and limitations that could apply). The buyer will also be responsible for all import and export customs and duty charges. Payment for international orders will be determined at the time of order placement or at a later time.
