Pickelhaube for an enlisted Prussian Dragoon. This rare, pre-World War I model
1882 helmet's wappen (frontplate) features a "wide-winged' Prussian eagle. The
spike finial mounting plate indicates enlisted rank with excellent gilt finish. The
black leather body shows normal age crazing. The chin scales are in original
and excellent condition. The two side kokarden further indicate a Prussian
helmet. The front visor is brass trimmed and tight to the leather. The interior
features a factory machine stitched to the body leather sweatband. This band
is is supple and in very good-excellent condition. The wappen, spine, kokarden
and finial plate (spike mounting plate) are all attached with metal hardware. This

Pickelhaube for an Oberfahnrich for Baden-Wurttemberg. This spiked helmet features
a nicely patinaed wappen with the Baden-Wurttemberg crest. The hardware all
matches in patination. The black leather body shows normal age crazing. The chin
scales all have nice even and tight appearance. The interior is marked size 59
and is dated 1913. The original owner's name is also penciled on the interior
shell. This is an excellent representative piece having the owner's name, manufacturer's

Pickelhaube for enlisted man from Baden. This helmet features a pewter Griffin
on the helmet's front plate . All the metal hardware (finial, frontplate, back
spineattachments for the kokarden and visor trim) all match for age and wear. The
chinstrap is a replacement. The interior is stamped BA XI (?) and dated 1910. The

Prussian World War I enlisted pickelhaube. This helmet's pewter wappen features the Prussian
Imperial eagle clutching the scepter and crown. All the exterior metal fiting show consistent
age and wear. The leather chinstrap is a replacement. The black leather body shows normal
age crazing. The interior features a complete leather liner in excellent condition. The

Imperial German Hussar "busby" style hat. This rare piece of German WWI headgear was worn by
the "Lancer" units of the German army. The field gray hat is made of heavy pressed felt. The
hat features a brass front plate with the inscrioption, "With God - For King - And Fatherland". The
upright cockade signifies Prussia. The original leather chinstrap is attached. Affixed to
the side/rear of the hat are the lancer cords used to secure the hat to epaulettes on the
rider's shoulders. The three securing hooks for the decorative kolpak (bag) are
present. The "bag" signified lancer unit. The interior retains its original leather
liner with the string unattached. There is Bekleidung stamp and
