1410SO15 - Oakleaf Militaria is proud to present an assembly of 108 autographs that were collected by U.S. Army Sergeant William Kerry who served as a guard at the Nuremberg War Crimes trials in 1945. This collection was acquired directly from the daughter of Sergeant Kerry. This offering may represent the finest collection of signatures of Third Reich dignitaries, Reichsleiters, Luftwaffe and Army Field Marshals and SS generals, Gauleiters and other NSDAP functionaries plus Hitler's personal secretaries Christa Schroeder and Johanna Wolf. Included in the collection are the signatures of Margarete and Gudrun Himmler whose signatures, I presume, were obtained during a visit.

This comprehensive collection includes recognizable Third Reich military and political personalities as Reichsmarshal Hermann Goring, Franz von Papen, Richard-Walther Darre ( Minister of Agriculture) , Wilhelm Frick ( Minister of the Interior) , Joachim von Ribbentrop (Foreign Minister), Seyss-Inquart , Frank, Alfred Rosenberg ( Minister of Occupied Eastern Territories), General Feldmarshal Wilhelm Keitel, Julius Streicher (Gauleiter of Nurnburg, later Franconia, editor of Der Steurmer ), Alfred Jodl, Rudolph Hess ( Deputy Fuhrer), Oberstgruppenfuhrer Sepp Dietrich, Reichsleiter Max Amann ( German Press), Reichsleiter Albert Speer ( Minister of Armaments and War Production), Ernst Kaltenbrunner, Generalfeldmarshal Albert Kesselring, Kurt Daluege, Sauckel, Heinz Guderian, SS-Standartenfuhrer Otto Skorzeny ( rescuer of Benito Mussolini), SS General Hans Lammers, Julius Schaub, Gottlob Berger ( SS Obergruppenfuhrer ), Generalfeldmarshal Erich Von Mannstein, Luftwaffe general Von Bodenshatz, Stumpf, Halder, Luftwaffe Generalfeldmarshal Erhard Milch, Army Generalfeldmarshal Walther von Brauchitsch, & Kriegsmarine Grossadmiral Karl Doenitz ( and successor of Adolf Hitler ) to name several. A number of these individuals were subsequently found guilty of war crimes and crimes against humanity.

Many of the signatures were signed on the back of dental record forms or whatever paper was available at the time Sergeant Kerry encountered the signer. Since the signatures were obtained from the Kerry family they have been mounted using photograph mounting corners on standard white paper. Many of the signatures have been researched with accompanying newspaper clippings and photographs. This offering may be the most comprehensive list of signatures collected from Third Reich personalities by a U.S. or Allied serviceman at Nuremburg while these historic figures were awaiting trial...Extremely rare. $8999. More Photos
