1011HUS1 - World War II United States Army officer's visor hat. This officer's hat is constructed of beaver fur. The cap has a flexible leather visor. The gilt insignia is the earlier first style with a larger eagle and "V" shaped. There is a "cavalry strap" of brown patent leather affixed to the side buttons and support by a hook in the back for size adjustment. The weather proof interior is in excellent condition and displays the New York maker's name "KNOX". $175. More Photos

1011ush2 - American 1880 model dress cavalry helmet with gold horse hair plume. This helmet features a U.S. Army brass frontplate that displays excellent detail. The black patent leather chinstrap is secured to the helmet body by two brass buttons with crossed sabers indicating cavalry. The interior indicates the helmet as being issued by the presence of the original owner's cloth nametag with the name "Archer" written on it. Helmet is in excellent condition. 088HUS2 - 7TH Naval Beach Battalion "D-Day" helmet. On June 6, 1944 the 7th Naval Beach Battalion was assigned a number of responsibilities including directing landing craft traffic. The Battalion suffered heavy casualties along with the regular landing forces. This helmet features the characteristic gray stripe running along the rim with the red bridge over USN 7. This swivel bale helmet comes with liner. This helmet was purchased from the collection of the late John Coy of Orgeon, IL., prior to his death. $7,000. More Photos
