2012MAB1 - Cased German Cross in Gold by C.F. Zimmermann marked "20". The cross displays excellent finish in the rays of the sunburst star. The gilt wreath retains 100% of its finish. There is very minor loss of finish to the white background beneath the black enameled swastika that is in perfect condition. The reverse side displays normal loss of its once silver finish. The “C’” catch has a baseplate as does the pin. The underside of the pin is marked "20" indicating the maker as C.F. Zimmermann. The case is in excellent, near mint condition. $3500.  More Photos

1711SO2 - Rare Army Paratrooper badge ( Fallschirmschutzen - Abzeichen des Heeres). This very rare badge, made of tombak, features the stylized diving Army eagle with a Wehrmacht eagle at the top center of the wreath. The German Army maintained a separate Fallschirmunfantrie Kompanie and later regiment until January 1, 1938 at which time it was incorporated into the Luftwaffe. Army Fallschirmjager who were awarded this badge continued to wear it throughout the war. The tombak version of this badge is rare as it was an early war production badge. This badge displays use and has wear to the finish. This is an excellent example of a rare and historic piece. $3000. . More Photos

This badge identified the bearer as employee # "14594" and authorized entry to the "park". Attached to Artillerie Park 11 was Rocket Training Batterie 444 responsible for research and testing of the German rocket program. This zinc badge features a Wehrmacht eagle over the number 14594. The words " HEIMAT-ARTILLERIE PARK 11, KARLSHAGEN" identifies the location. The reverse is unmarked. Kriegsmarine Grouping of Leutnant zur See Karl-Heinz Gegner

2211MAB8 - Kriegsmarine Grouping of Leutnant zur See Karl-Heinz Gegner. Karl-Heinz Gegner was born 18.04.1918 and presumable perished on 20.10.1942 while serving on U-216. Oblt. Gegner's posts in the Kriegsmarine included serving with the 12. Unterseebootsjagdflotte during which time he was awarded the Iron Cross 2nd Class on 8. December 1940. On 11. MARZ 1941 he was awarded the Destroyer badge while serving with the 6. Torpedobootsflotille. It is probable that he served aboard either "Jaguer", "Wolf", or "Seeadler" during this period of service. The 1944-45 Rangliste does not include Lt. Karl-Heinz Ggener's name indicating he either separated from service or was killed in action. Only one Kriegsmarine boat was destroyed on Gegner's date of death being U-216. He may not have served on-board long enough to qualify for the U-Boat war badge. This stunning grouping includes his award documents for the Destroyer badge dated 11. Marz 1941, Minesweeper badge dated 28.November 1940, the award for the Iron Cross 2nd Class dated 8. Dezember 1940, a postcard addressed to him and two Ehrentaffel documents mentioning his name. The badges included in the grouping include the Destroyer badge, the Minesweeper bade and the Iron Cross 2nd Class. There also is included a Kriegsmarine tally for the "Torpedoeboot Luchs" . Last there are two Kriegsmarine magazine publications rich which photos and texts containing news of Knights Cross recipients and other Kriegsmarine related news. $2100.  More Photos

The SS and Army cavalry units often competed in these competitions. This early example features a wreathed mounted horseman above the letter "R" designating "Reiter". 141SO3 - Rare Geheime Staatspolizei (Gestapo) Warrant Disc ground dug. This disc, issued to members of the Gestapo, granted practically unlimited powers of access, arrest and interrogation. The non-magnetic nickel silver disc features the state eagle on the obverse and words GEHEIME STAATPOLIZEI with the issuance number "11658 "on the reverse. This disc is in " ground dug" condition showing surface wear but with very good detail to the state eagle and "GEHEIME STAATSPOLIZEI" lettering. The disc is accompanied with a letter of authenticity written by the foremost authority Don Bible. Very rare and in much demand. $3600. More Photos
