Very rare Luftwaffe JG27 officer's tropical belt

117B1 - Very rare Luftwaffe JG27 officer's tropical belt with probable Prisoner of War made buckle commemorating service years 1941 -1942. This heavily faded belt features an aluminum shield shaped buckle with the years "41/42" displayed. Unlike its Army counterparts who would not ordinarily celebrate two years of a three years campaign , Luftwaffe units often commemorated their service dates, number of flight sorties and aerial victories with personalized items. The shield shape of the buckle more than likely is indicative of the III Group of JG27 which displayed a shield in its unit emblem and served in North Africa from December 1941 through November 1942. The buckle is well-made showing standard German buckle construction on the reverse. The cotton belt retains both keepers. $2500. More Photos

119B1 - Waffen SS nco/enlisted belt with buckle. This Waffen SS belt a buckle come directly from Major Mario “Moose’ Estrada who served with the 526th Armored Infantry Battalion during World War Two. The aluminum buckle is in excellent condition showing minor wear. The reverse of the buckl e is marked “RZM, 822/37, SS”. The belt comes with its original unmarked black leather strap. The strap is a large size measuring approximately 40 inches. Accompanying the belt is a photograph of Major Estrada displaying the belt. This rare brocade belt features SS runics and oak leaves woven in aluminum thread bordered with two black stripes along the top and bottom. The exterior is in overall very good-excellent condition having very minor powdering to the aluminum thread. Both brocade loops are present. The interior is lined with dark green velvet that displays no wear. The buckle is the standard SS officer's that has nice age that matches the brocade. The reverse of the buckle is marked RZM, SS, oLc, ( Overhoff & Cie Ludenscheid) and 36/42. The belt can be adjusted to size 35 inches. $3850. More Photos

105B1 - SS/Polizei officer's brocade dress belt with rare RZM and SS marked buckle. This rare belt features the rare SS brocade strap with alternating SS runes and oak leaf motif. The brocade was worn by officers as the Polizei came under the direct authority of the SS. The brocade has a field gray cotton lined interior. The aluminum buckle features the standard Polizei officer's circular front. The reverse is marked DRGM followed by the RZM mark 257/41 with the encircled SS runes. This belt features a silvered brass stamped, unmarked buckle showing darkening caused by storage with a rubber band used to keep it rolled. The lion head suspenders are silver wash over gold indicating that the manufacturer converted to line officer fittings were converted to admin. I am certain this was period done judging by the aging and wear to the finish. The strap is black satin and is in excellent condition. The interior is lined with deep, rich midnight blue velvet. The leather strap displays mild age and wear and retains its suppleness and brown finish. The interior is stamped on the leather foldover that secures the buckle " RZM L2/338/41 ". Also affixed to the inside of the strap is a paper SA RZM tag marked "SA Liebriemen … RZM Reichszeugmeisterei der NSDAP A No. 468359 ". The leather strap measures a full 44 inches.
